Private Company Successfully Launches First Official Cargo Ship To The International Space Station: South African-born, Elon Musk's SpaceX successfully launched its Dragon capsule from Cape Canaveral Sunday night in the first of 12 cargo deliveries under a $1.6 million contract with NASA. The unmanned commercial cargo ship with carry 1,000 pounds of food, supplies and scientific equipment to the crew of the International Space Station. It will dock with the ISS on Wednesday.
